You know your weekend is too short when...

After a day at work and a brisk 7 mile run in the evening you go home with a bit of sore throat, put the kids to bed, have dinner decide that an early night is in order but have to stretch and foam roll you IT bands before hitting the hay. Half an hour later you wife finds you asleep on the bedroom floor snoring in some sort of pseudo contorted stretch…I am that man!

  5. Now that is funny and insane. I normally only sleep on the bathroom floor if I have had a few drinks. Thankfully that has been a few years since that has happened.

I need to get back to rolling my legs. It works and I just need to do it! Thanks for the reminder :)

NC race.... come on! They also offer a 50 mile distance. I am considering it.

  8. Hi there. Love your funny headlines! Your pictures make me want to move back to Socal!!!!

I'm so looking forward to Mt. Dis. Ran the 50k 2007 and had a blast. Now the 50M will be a challenge:-)

  10. That is definitely a bad sign. Hope you're feeling more rested and the hint of a sore throat is gone.

  11. Yup. Got that too. 10 days, and loving the new Theraflu for sore throat.

I haven't run for 6 days, though. Feel better!

  12. Funny. I have done the same thing after core work. I was just beat and curling up on the carpet sounded like a good idea. I hope you have a bit more of a spring in your step today.

  13. I wish I could do that, but one thing for sure - I go to bed before my kid does!

  15. This is too funny. Wow, glad that you are working way to hard and falling asleep on the ground.

  16. That's kind of awesome. My husband found me asleep at the kitchen table once next to a bowl of soggy Cheerios and a spoon hanging out my mouth.

  17. HA HA! Too funny. I guess you need to start getting a little extra rest!

  18. So, when you say Andre as in the Giant Killer, are you talking about that famous wrestler from the 80s, Andre the French Giant and I just don't know that he's also called Giant Killer 'cause I'm just not that cool?

If so, that might actually be a possibility for a name. I like it!

  19. LOL! I am trying to picture this.

  20. Stuart, Do you roll your whole IT band (knee to hip) at once, or do it by sections? (Upper and lower?)
Any ideas on what is best?
