I hit Cheeseboro Canyon this morning in the gloom of low cloud! Gotta love an El Nino Summer! Enjoy…
Mile 1, low cloud and empty trails
Mile 2, on a sunny day the shade is very welcome
Mile 3, I don’t remember ever moving that fast!
Mile 4, I can’t help but think of this when I see this sign
Mile 5, more unneeded shade…hey I’ll take it!
Mile 6, greenery and Spring flowers
Mile 7, calves like Lance Armstrong…I wish!
Mile 8, high towers and low cloud
Mile 9, a little video of the trail
Mile 10, looking back over my shoulder
Mile 11, I named this crow Horton!
Mile 11.33, home…well the car!
I loved seeing your run in pictures!!! Loved it! maybe I'll do that tomorrow....
ReplyDeleteMaybe not calves like LA but most impressive nonetheless. :-)
ReplyDeleteVERY california!!!! I like open fields much better than dense woods.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures and funny video! ...several photos remind me of our run yesterday in Crystal Cove State Park. There were swarms of bumble bees down in Emerald Canyon.
ReplyDeletehope you are having a great weekend :-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice Stuart. I was up in some of the OC hills yesterday. You can sure tell it's Southern California summer by all the earthtone shadesthe hills take. Seems it was only a couple weeks ago everything was green!
ReplyDeleteNice pics. I am in town so let me know if you want to go out for a nice easy run.
ReplyDeleteLove the post...great pics!
