Tour of Sufferlandria Day 6 (Ride 9)

The final day of the tour was another double. Power Station and Violator. Opposite ends of the spectrum if you like. 50 minutes of climbing followed by an hour of short sharp sprints.

Power Station is a new video released just this week, you can check out the trailer below. My legs were still feeling tired so I dialed this down to 85% and dug in. Some standing some sitting with rest intervals in between. No muss no fuss!

The basic workout is;

  • 5:00 – Warm-up
  • 40:00 – 11 'Walls' to climb at a low cadence. Each wall is between 30 seconds and three minutes, with variable recovery between each effort.
  • 5:00 – Cool-down

      I had planned to follow this with Violator but packing and passports were calling so I acted like an adult and got on with the necessary!
